These terms govern use of Mkulima Bora, an agricultural marketplace platform operated by Nanocomputing Limited, including its web dashboards and companion mobile app. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

Who can use Mkulima Bora

The platform is available to farmers, aggregators/buyers, agro-input suppliers, and authorised county and platform administrators. Farmer accounts require identity verification against Kenya's Integrated Population Registration System (IPRS). Supplier accounts require approval by the relevant county admin before listing products.

Marketplace conduct

• Listings must accurately describe the produce, livestock or inputs on offer.
• Purchase requests, negotiations and pickup arrangements made through the platform should be honoured in good faith by both parties.
• Suppliers must only list agrochemical or veterinary products backed by accurate manufacturer data.
• Misrepresenting identity, listings, or transaction outcomes may result in suspension of an account.

Ratings & trust scores

Completed transactions contribute to a user's rating and trust score. Ratings are intended to reflect genuine transaction outcomes and should not be manipulated.

County & platform administration

County admins act within their own jurisdiction to approve suppliers, manage extension officers, and track agricultural incidents. Platform admins retain overall governance of user verification, categories, manufacturers and analytics across the platform.

Data protection

Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is collected and handled in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the platform evolves. Continued use of Mkulima Bora after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
